Phil didn’t start out as a tech guy. He built and led a powerhouse real estate team in North Carolina. But what set him apart was a mindset shift: He realized that to truly lead in marketing, you need to learn the fundamentals first—and then use AI to amplify those strategies.


It’s like Phil says: “AI doesn’t make you a marketer. It just automates what you already know how to do. If you skip the basics, you’re just speeding up bad marketing.”

  • Then bring in AI. Use tools like Opus Clip (yes, he only uses clips that score 98 or higher on their viral scale!) and ChatGPT prompts that basically teach the AI how to improve itself.

  • Focus on high-leverage activities. He uses AI to automate admin tasks so he can spend time where it matters—building relationships and creating revenue.

  • Think ahead. He envisions AI agents who’ll book your flights, dentist appointments, and yes, maybe even prep your listing presentations before you ask.

What I love most about Phil’s story is the obsession with learning. He hasn’t watched TV since 2022. No Super Bowl. No streaming shows. Just deep dives into marketing and tech, every night.
